Where I can rent canoes or kayaks in the city of Ottawa?
Who came to Ottawa in late spring and leaving a car and I have no sure the bus driver would not be very happy to see if the port on the bus. Anyone know of a place in the city of Ottawa who rents boats and navigation equipment (vests jackets, oars, etc.) for the day?
Hi Shelley, the only place in town that comes to mind is Dow's Lake. This leads to the canal, which is something 3 miles in length to better than nothing, fun, though of course not as a true lake. I put links to Lake Dow and a map of the channel in the source area for you. Since you're the number 3 bus is the bus to take to get there.You Lebret available from the apartment or at the Rideau Centre (these are historic sites, but There are many more).
